Statement from Board re. Frome College Safeguarding.

STATEMENT FROM THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Following recent negative communications on Social Media regarding the erection of a fence around Frome College the Board of Trustees of the Merlin Theatre wish to issue the following statement:

The Merlin Theatre Trust Board, employees, volunteers and supporters are fully behind the Head Teacher and Board of Governors of Frome College in their drive to increase and improve the safeguarding of young people in their care. To that end we fully support the recent erection of a fence around the campus and are working with Frome College personnel to ensure it does not negatively effect our own events and activities.
