The Shiver is an interdisciplinary performance piece of dance and spoken word with three dancers exploring the scientific and emotional reasoning behind the physiological response of why we shiver.

This unique, cutting edge collaboration between Subathra Subramaniam and Lemn Sissay is a result of a recent shared experience of the Arctic through the Cape Farewell project, now widely acknowledged to be one of the most significant sustained cultural responses to climate change.

Each performance will be accompanied by a Café Scientifique, a lively debate with artists and scientists involved in The Shiver engaging directly with the audience.
