Frome Writers’ Collective presents


Readers’ and Writers’ Day celebrates the short story in various forms, starting with the annual Flash Fiction Competition live at 12 noon, followed by the Frome Festival Short Story Competition results and Prizegiving at 2pm.

The results of Frome Writers’ Collective’s Writer in Residence Competition and the Young Writer Award will also be announced. Bring a picnic and come to support the writers and hear the winners.

Flash fiction stories (maximum 600 words) are in response to a given quote provided two weeks in advance. If you are interested in contributing a flash fiction story, please email fromewriterscollective@gmail.com by June 20th, in order to receive the prompt.

Please note this is an outdoor performance on Ecos following government guidelines for your safety.

Bring a picnic and a cushion – and please take all your rubbish home with you!

Bring a brolly! We will be outside!

In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the foyer.
