CHILDREN’S & YOUTH ACTIVITIES

We have over 100 children and young people taking part in our weekly groups. There is a high demand for places in some of the groups and some have waiting lists. Places must be booked and paid for in advance. Contact Claudia Pepler on 01373 461360 to find out if places are available.

Dance & Drama Groups for Children and Young People

Playing With Plays
Ages 8-11
With Claudia Pepler Berry
Mondays 4.15pm-5.45pm
A performance based group working from scripts devised or adapted by the group. The group will develop their performance skills, learn how to develop characters and cover basic stage techniques.

Musical Theatre
Ages 8-16
With Roxy Thomas & Tracey Ashford
Tuesdays 4.15pm -5.30pm
Over the term the group will work toward an informal show based on a musical or a devised tale. Learning drama techniques, dance, routines and songs from the shows such as Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, and Hairspray to name but a few, this new group promises to be energetic, fun and will help develop creativity, self confidence and performance skills.
