Five winning companies from Bristol, Avon, Totton and Somerset perform their plays before Robert Meadows GoDA, who then gives a constructive criticism of their productions which covers technical aspects, setting and costumes as well as acting and direction.

The AETF – All England Theatre Festival – has festivals the length and breadth of England and the winners of this Western Area Final will go forward to Norden Farm Centre for the Arts at Maidenhead on 8 June, whose winner will represent England at the British Final on 12 -13 July at The Perth Theatre, Scotland.
