BRATTON SILVER BAND CONCERT
Bratton Silver Band formed in 1859, is one of the oldest brass bands in the country and has a rich history. The band performs a mix of contemporary and traditional brass band music and is based in the village of Bratton, Wiltshire.
As an organisation we promote music in our local community and play at many events throughout the year. Our organisation is innovative and forward thinking recently commissioning a new work called “The Lost Village of Imber” which was performed at the 2023 National Brass Band Championships.
The band is ranked in the Third Section nationally and competes in brass band contests several times a year. It has been honoured to represent the West of England in the National Brass Band Championship Finals five times, competing at Wembley, Dundee, Harrogate, Cardiff and Cheltenham.
